Update:

We got the results of the Lake of the Pines Drive for the Nevada Co. Food Bank, and… We collected 5,550 lbs of food and $1,147!

It’s so amazing to live in a community that comes together like this, especially near the holidays. With this help, the Nevada Co. Food Bank can put a lot of food on a lot of tables, and it’s because you all chose to help. To everyone who donated, thank you!!!

 

 
I’m so proud of the Lake of the Pines community. Everyone reached into their hearts (and their cupboards) to fill their grocery bags for our Nevada County Food Bank!
 

 
We had two collection sites to donate at this year; I worked at the LOP front gates and the donation bags just kept coming and coming! In fact, our community gave so much that by 11:00 am, we had to have the Food Bank send a truck just for the huge amount of morning donations!
