We have nearly 90 miles of rivers, creeks and shoreline to cover in just one day and we need your help keeping our local rivers trash free. Help us haul out the garbage, divert recyclables from the landfill, and keep the Yuba clean, safe and healthy. This event has been going strong for 20 years, hauling out MORE THAN 200,000 POUNDS of garbage and recycling!

Over the past 20 years, our community has removed more than 100 tons of garbage and recycling from our Yuba Watershed.

Don’t miss the Volunteer Appreciation Party from 1pm-5pm, at Pioneer Park in Nevada City. Come join our community of volunteers for an afternoon celebrating our cleanup efforts, enjoying delicious local eats, tasty brews, and great company. Local artists The Heifer Belles and Red Dirt Ruckus will dazzle you with their musical gifts, and lunch is FREE for volunteers registered by September 10. We can’t wait to see you there!

Become a Virtual Volunteer by joining the Clean-a-thon to help raise public awareness and funding for our cleanup efforts. You can join an existing fundraising team, create your own team with friends and family, or fundraise as an individual.
